Due to a staff shortage, the Waiea Recycling & Transfer Station will close at 8:00 a.m. today (Monday, July 22, 2019) and will reopen as regularly scheduled on Thursday, July 25, 2019, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  Until 6:00 p.m. this afternoon the public can take their residential waste to the Keauhou Transfer Station, which is open seven days a week, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
