The County of Hawai‘i Department of Environmental Management is pleased to announce that metal and appliance recycling services have resumed at all East Hawai‘i Transfer Stations following the reopening of Big Island Scrap Metal, the County’s contracted recycling partner.

The Department appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation during the temporary disruption in services and remains committed to providing reliable recycling options for the community.
